It was November 4, 2008. Around midnight, local time, New York City celebrated the election of Barack Obama with joy and jubilation. For the previous eight days, I had strolled through the city streets, meeting its residents. That evening, they surely envisioned a better, fairer world. Two terms later, Trump entered the White House (series from the book "8 Days Before Obama," published by FLAM).
